Our new photobook about St. Petersburg — without St. Petersburg — is finally here.

You can change your place of residence, the rhythm of your footsteps, and the view from your window. You can learn to breathe different air—the unusually dry air of the mountains. But you can't fool your own eye or your camera lens: they still recognize the familiar melancholy and the fleeting beauty of St. Petersburg. We searched for its echoes in the scorching landscapes of Armenia and across the vast expanses of Bashkortostan.

We worked on this book from November 2025 to June 2026. We generated ideas, dug through four years of archives, spent countless hours discussing every detail, and even created new photographs specifically for this project. We made all those endless little revisions in pursuit of something intimate, compact, and truly special. And here it is. We're excited to share it with you—and we're genuinely proud of what we've created.

The printed edition comes with two handmade 13 × 18 cm optical prints — one by each author.
